I got the cam out! .722/.949 intake .227 .718/ .948 exhaust. .230

If I clock the key way for the valve to crack til closing it's about 270 degrees. Intake and close to that exhaust. I gauge under the spring keeper at rest and at full open. The difference is about .260. The gasket is about .52 thick. I will have a spring removal tool in two days.

Here's the head if I straight edge across the two bolt holes I can get a .007 under it.

It has 50 on the jet. The head chamber is almost flush with gasket area.

Also I should mention the valve springs are double springs.

I am looking thru a 5 hp B &S early raptor. It says 040 on piston and a Dyno cam with 6-24-42-6 stamped on it. The rod is stamped WMS3.875 # 7575. I need to what this build may be capable of? Thanks and go.

Ok, Thanks. I ordered an intake for a raptor but the bolt holes are to far apart on it. The block has narrow bolt holes. while the cleaner block that is still a complete assembly, is showing more cast around the intake with another hole for a screw. The cleaner block has a lot more reinforcement...
