Tom Branham of Taylor, MI passed away this week from the Covid virus. He was always ready to make a new friend or help an old one. I met Tom a few years ago at the Ann Arbor Bike Show. He and Glenn helped me haul my new treasures home.

This is a 1970 Bonanza Mini Dune Buggy riding mower by General Appliance Mfg. They had 3 models, this was their best.

What is this one? Note the wedge-shaped stamped steel engine mounting plate with flip up foot pegs and multiple slotted holes. This one is listed on ebay as a Bird. I used to have a mini chopper with the same mounting plate, never did figure out who made it..

This was a nice original bike sold by Tractor Supply Company before my friend repainted it. Handle bar mount is different. Anyone know who made it? Thanks.
