I am rebuilding and modifying my 74 Alsport Tri Sport SL
I am needing a differential, preferably steel not aluminum but if it is a HAXCO one, I would like it either way.
The pic shows my rear end set up so anyone with much experience out there may be able to help me out. I don't have a lot...
I am looking for a differential for my Tri Sport. I have modified it with a new engine that is pushing a lot of H.P. The photo shows my rear end. I need a differential that will work with chain drive and be a bit tougher than the peerless. I have seen photos of the HAXCO which has been said is...
Close up of peerless differential I used on the old one. I want to replace with a HAXCO maybe, if I can find one. I don't want or need the full axle like the peerless comes with, just shorter pieces on each side to hook up with my universal joints.
Ok, I think I gotcha.
Call tomarrow and find out details.
Thanks again.
By the way, this is Hermans lady who is not so with it on this stuff! So don't judge HIM, Ok, LOL
sincerely,
Cathy
Are these Peerless? After I looked, I can't be sure if they are all the same or if some of them are the HAXCO. Whats up guy? Im dying out here.
Thanks. I see your last post with the info. I will give them a call. Maybe they have something stronger than the 100-001. If its made of steel and not aluminum, it might do the trick and get me by until I swap out to a really nice one.
Still trying to figure everything out on this...
