    this engine came on my arco not original. off an ariens snow blower, would like anyone to decode it.im going to tear it apart bore it .10 over with new piston and rings and gaskets valve job. maybe mill the head. and blast it and repaint it.

    Not sure if I remember this correctly and can't seem to find the thread. I need to adjust the governor. Do you push the throttle all the way open (with spring and shaft installed), loosen the governor screw on the block, push all the way open and retighten the governor screw on the block.:out...

    Anyone modded a H40 tecumseh. Got one on a ken bar whirlwind bike i just picked up and don't whether to try to mod this engine or replace it with clone engine. The H40 runs good and looks to have low hours on but don't know alot about tecumseh engines or where to get parts for it.

    Help with Broken Head Bolt

    While removing one of the head bolts from my H40, the top of the bolt snapped leaving only a small amount of the bolt sticking out. I've begun to drill it out and the thread seems to be rusted to the rest of the bolt as i cant find the thread of the hole. Any suggestions?
