Trying to find a Manco Big Cat 596 New - Headset Bolt Cap& Nut assembly Part # 5336 with bearings

Hello gents (and ladies?) -- newbie here. I just picked up my first mini bike (a Manco with 3.5 horse Tecumseh), and had a quick question. I need to sort a couple of things out, one of which is slop in the headset. A quick search did not answer my question (that I could see), so I turn to you...

I'm in the process of building up my first mini I'm kind of a freak for details. the front end seems to have too much play in it for my likings. if i tighten up the bolt it don't steer, but if let loose it has way too much slop. the down tubes are not wallowed out, it is just a poor design...
