I've got the bike torn down other than this rusted mess. I took a nut off one side and a C clip and washer off the other. Anybody that has any experience with these and would like to give me their input I would sure appreciate it. Here are some pictures of what it looks like.

NOS Bonanza 2 speed jack shaft. Thought I would use it, but looks like not. Has never been used. I did disassemble it and cleaned the hardened wax like grease out of it and lightly oiled the sprag bearing. Works as it should. There is some very minor marks present on the shaft- see pics. Nice...

I picked this up last fall and never used it.

I just got a new jackshaft from OldMiniBikes and it doesn't have a key way cut in it what do you guys do with these as it seems the gears will spin out on it with just set screws.
very lightly used Comet 2 speed assembly, along with Max Torque 2 speed clutch (3/4" crank) Both have the same amount of use, not much at all. Jackshaft is 8.5" long (take off from a Rupp C350 as we put it back to factory setup-non jackshaft/direct)

Does this jackshaft look familiar to anyone? Came in a very random mini bike parts lot that gave no clues as to what it was for (looks unused). Kinda short overall, it is drilled and tapped on the short side.
