hey there guys, so im thinkin about gettin a fuel pump setup and i was just wondering what difference i would feel in performance and it would be worth making the switch, i appreciate the input guys -boston

Trying to get my Lawn mower running and have no vacuum coming out of the fuel pump in the line going back to the tank. I have 5" of vacuum from line coming from the crank case and then going into the bottom port of the fuel pump. I'm assuming 5" is enough from the crankcase but don't know...

I basically want to know how much I can do to yhis gx200 before it's so powerful it requires reinforcement of any kind, or special fuel. Governor removed, billet conrod, billet flywheel. Want to shave .080 off the head and install a flat top piston. Stock crank .265 cam. 22mm mikuni carb...

The square type is being discontinued, here's the one that's taking it's place. I'm glad they got rid of those two annoying studs that were on the bottom of the square version. :doah: Made in Mexico is better than made in China I suppose. :shrug:

How much power are some of you guys making on a modified clone motor tuned on pump gas (ex: 91-93 octane)? Anyone in the 20-25HP range?

does a mikuni fuel pump have to be mounted flat or does it matter? thanks for any info.chris

so i see people with fuel pumps on their engines even though the gas tank is above the carb. so im wondering why people do this? at what point will i need a fuel pump?

This is just a open discussion thread. I got this crazy idea to use a transition radiator (little thing it's like 12"-4") to cool off the oil in a racing engine.(5hp briggs, clone...ect) obviously you need a pump so I was wondering do you think it's possible to get a diaphragm fuel pump...

Has anyone hooked up the walbro pulse pump? I just recieved one from AKG and there aren,t any instructions as to where the lines hook up. It has the three line conections but which is the vacume, fuel inlet and fuel outlet. Any help would be much appreciated.

well rather a lack of a fuel pump.... now this may seem like a dumb question so be gentle lol, but i took off the factory fuel tank and fuel pump and im going with a fuel tank mounted above the motor.... so my question is ....i wont need the fuel pump at all right?

i like to run filters, and i have had the same briggs 150 micron filter for many years, and its flow has gotten kinda weak, but it clearly says for use with no fuel pump engines, i recently went to some yellow 1/4" tygon tubing and i wanted one of these style fuel filters to clearly see fuel...

what fuel pump should I use to get the fuel to my mikuni clone on my 5hp briggs? One of the mikuni pumps is rectangular and has 1 outlet and the other is round and has two outlets. which one do I get?

... whats the best way to hook up a diaphram fuel pump to a 5 horse briggs should i use the crank case breather on the valve cover? if so do they sell valve covers that already have the fitting on them for the vacum hose? let me know thanks! austin,

Our car broke down :censure: on the way to a Cruise vacation ( almost free) out of San Diego! We left it at a mechanic and are down in Mexico. Just got an email that "we need a fuel pump and filter, $665.00" !! OUCH!! :no: Why would it be so much, anybody know?? I'll check here 2-3 times...
