would it be ok to locate the fuel pump higher then the fuel tank?

put a mukuni on 8hp briggs were is the best place to put vac hose? shough i drill in to the intake i made?

Have a 16hp Tec OHV and just did a head gasket on it and runs great but the fuel pump hose coming from the front of the motor to the pump diaphram keeps filling with oil. I clean it out and fills again. Motor has good compression and don't seem to have blowby at all.

do i need a feul pump on my gx160? it is on a slite angil i got it to run but will not idle, do i just need new carb?

Has anyone hooked a fuel pump up on a old flat head ( or 'L' head ) briggs. I have seen some that work off the vacuum pulse of the crankcase. but I'm not sure where to hook it up. Will it work by hooking the pulse line to the breather hose ?
