Hi all,
I am trying to rebuild my 1971 Tecumseh H35-45348H engine. Upon taking it apart I found the flywheel was loose on the crankshaft damaging both the crank keyway and flywheel. Some years ago I purchased what was supposed to be a NOS Rupp H35 crank. I pulled it off the shelf and looked...
Hi All,
I am in the process of restoring 2 Rupp minibikes I purchased a few years ago. A purple Rupp Roadster II with original title and a Green Scrambler.
Focusing on the Green Scrambler with a Tecumseh H35-45348H engine.
Step one will be to obtain an exploded parts list, showing Rupp...
Anyone?
I have 2 hs50's I am working on. I'd like to do away with the points on these and came across this Nova 2 ignition module.
I see a guy putting it on a briggs in this video. Has anyone used these on the hs50 Tecumseh engines?

One of my Buddies bought a new tecumseh 6.0 powersports engine a while back and decided he didn't like the governor after he broke it in. The engine ran perfect before but not so much afterwards.
I brought it home to keep it from going in the scrap pile. It literally has like 5 hours on the...
Like it says I need a TEC tank , plastic is fine side fill preferred but center will work . Oh and a HS 40-50 size . Don't need I bracket because it's going on a Briggs and I'll have to build one . Let me know what you have .
I am considering buying a tecumseh power sport 3.5hp motor for under $50. Runs good and looks to be in nice shape. ANy one have good experience with these motors, or should i save my money. Need someone to talk me into or out of it
Currently I am wading through HS40's in the shop, I dug all the 4 HP's out and have been sorting parts, and currently doing the long blocks up. Everything I am building is between 1968-1971 currently. Biggest problem is that some of those engines I had collected over the years, while mostly...
Not sure if I should be asking, or if this is placed in the correct section...Forgive me if totally incorrect.
I am looking in to making up some repo Tech HS and H series ID tags for some projects I have. Is there any interest from members on making these? I would not make them available...
I bought a 81 Sears Green Streak from a swap meet to build to a customers specs.
The bike came with the original Tecumseh 4hp HS40 on it.
It had spark and compression and would run if some gas was dribbled in the cylinder but the carb wouldn't let fuel in.
I installed a diaphragm carb from a...
Looking for complete running:
1973 H35 Tecumseh engine
1969/70 HS40 with center fill tank.
Engines need to have the original ID tags and must be for a mini bike.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Greg

I bought this shroud off eBay and the bottom ended up having rust holes in the bottom when I started sanding it. Didnt want to use it on my resto because of it. Other than the few small holes its solid. Extra ventilation. It came from Michigan. :hammer: It is free to anyone willing to pay...
Hey there. I've got a Dunecycle with an 8hp Tecumseh engine, from what I've researched so far.
It's been sitting for who know how long but after some simple checks and and external fuel supply it started up pretty well.
It appears to have a Mikuni vm22, governor removed, and maybe an...
