Order three replacement carburetos from Amazon, and try them until the engine starts and runs. Return the remaining two. I am not kidding.
As far as your torque converter questions, the one that Ole posted appears to be a standard Driver and Driven set, not the TAV set. It looks like
@ole4 married the jackshaft to the new Torque converter DRIVEN using a set screw stop to a plain jack shaft, to which he mounted a chain wheel.
