2015 BUILD OFF ENTRY- Vintage Class Lil Indian

What did you use for your bracket? Thanks
I was going to get some laser cut ones done to be original, but the cost was too much. Get some 1/2" wide L bracket and use them to mock up as a pattern. After I got the angles and patterns down for the locations. Use some 1/2" x 1/8" steel flat bar. You can buy it from Home Depot. Using the L brackets as a pattern make the new brackets. This way you will not have the extra holes in the brackets. I use rubber washer between the cover and the bracket because there will be vibration. I angle the rear up just alittle in the back. The chain was a little too close. I enjoy riding my bikes.:scooter:

Cover brackets

Here's a picture of what the finished product looks like. I used carriage bolts to mount the cover to the brackets. It is a good ridge mount.

This month's update. The only detail left is the oil decal in the front on the motor was not clear coated and came off when cleaned. I have a new one ordered. I'm going to clear coat it with Spray Max.
