had motor running but I was not real happy with the response from governor on it. The first pic shows the differences in governor shafts. I put a newer style roller bearing cover on it and fire it up again and hope it has a better midrange response. I think this motor was originally a wide open throttle application. I think this motor is going to have a pretty good sound to it. I made a custom header for it but also have the correct muffler and deflector for it too.

Well I stopped by yesterday with Jeff and Gary and we got the forks straightened out and adjusted the rear axle mounts so the rear rim fit better. There we're signs of the chain hitting and They had a couple bends that were out a little. Then we did a quick mock up. Everything looked good now.

Well I git the tires mounted and rims painted and motor painted this morning had this all done before the Sun came up. Hoping this afternoon to get a couple other parts painted too. I will post pics of it when it is all together and decals on it.

Rick, Do you,want to post an email so we can send Paypal $$$ to. ... Lets get this ball rolling... Even if its $5,$10,$20 at a time it will add up by June... If I win the raffle donate the bike to one of the kids....

Randy are you thinking as for donations only no raffle tickets. I still need to get a hold of Jeff on this idea.

Donation is fine with me. But if you want to count it towards what the bike raffle brings then I suggest everything collected go towards tickets in Jeffs name to let him give away to the kid he thinks deserves it the most. I know some of us won't be able to ride it because of size,shipping it home or just not wanting to ruin such a nice piece and not having the storage. But we still want to support Jeff and this event. This will also allow to collect from people who want to donate who may not attend. And the sooner we can get it rolling the sooner people can start donating and get the pot growing...

The motor looks good Rick. I like the overhead tire rack. I have to find a place and do that. That will save some room in to work area.

I just talked with Jeff and he said it was fine to get a PayPal donation going for winder police fund. We decided to use his PayPal address that way all the money is at the touch of a keyboard for Jeff to combine the raffle money and donations together. Just a thought but a new thread with this info might help a little. I will be contributing as well. Every little bit helps like randy said.
