Any Lawn Tractor Pro out there

Ok,

So I have some questions about a Ford LGT 100 that I got off Craigslist for 40dollars. It runs and rides ok as far as I can tell, but I cant seem to find very good info out there about this thing. I know it has a Koler 10 horse, and a tractor readend with a clutch, butt I don't know how many gears. I have been told a 3 speed, and also a 4 speed. I do know it has a granny low and reverse. Also I was thinking about putting a blade on it to push around snow. Is it worth the hasle, I see that I could also add a PTO, but they seem kind of hard to find.

It looks like a nice tractor and weighs about as much as my SS 18/6.

I pushed snow with my SS 16/6 and it did OK but I had metal screws in the tires for traction and NO wheel weights and it would push about 6 inches of snow even fairly wet but that was about it after that I needed to use the SS 18/6 with the snowblower.

yep. Thats the best forum for lawn tractors. They've helped me tons with my SS/16-18/6

Ten horse kohler? Is it older than dirt, like 1960's horizontal shaft engine powered thing? Actually LOOKS like an old tractor?

If so probably a 3 speed.

It is old, I think 70's and ya that is the motor. I was thinking about that tractor site, but did not want to join another forum if you know what I mean.

I have a old case with that kohler and another one in an old johndeere,and another one sitting on the shed floor.Those fords are nice but i bet hard to find parts to

i have a 67 wheel horse with a 6hp motor,42" blade and it plows my drive great up to 5in,it would do more if i had wheel weights and chains.
