Second barn find - this one I "think" I have a lead on
Found an older post on this site (thanks guys!), and this looks to be a Sportsman made in Denver, but I'm not sure of the model. The post I saw had a few Sportsman brochures posted, but they were too small to really make anything out.
I only found a few examples searching on the internet, and none of them had this same suspension setup in the front. Sort of a primitive telescoping fork, but with a set of external springs to keep the bottom from falling out.
Motor is a 6HP Briggs & Stratton
I tried following the link to the US Scooter Museum, but looks like most of the info on that site has unfortunately been lost.
If anyone has info / brochures / pictures they could send me, it would be greatly appreciated.
