Good morning all.
I am planning a road trip towing my race car on an open trailer, and I would like to take my 6.5 Doodlebug along. I have a Chevy Tahoe and I would rather not put the DB inside, as last time I did that, I noticed the residual fuel fumes can get to me after a while, and this will be 9-10 hour drive.
I do have a 2" receiver mounted to my trailer that I use for mounting a small winch when it's needed. I was thinking of getting a bicycle hitch carrier and using that to secure the DB.
Any recommendations or warnings about this? Obviously I will need to use a fairly sturdy carrier as the DB is likely close to 100lbs.
Thank you in advance.
