Well damn, hope to see you there. Not sure if the whole fam will be attending, but my son and I will be there. Still have a few more things to get finished on one of the Bonanza's... but I should have enough time.

Well it looks like I'm out :censure::censure::censure:
My daughter has been in cheer leading the past few months. They told us they were preparing for a competition later in the year... well, they neglected to tell us THERE WAS 3 competitions. Oct 19, 26 and Nov 9th. Sucks because I've been working on 2 bikes to bring this year and my son was really looking forward to it also. I was looking forward to redeeming myself after getting beat by him a few years ago @ BP.:doah: SUCKS!

I've got a plan, take the family out to dinner Saturday night, make sure that you and your son order the same exact thing thats totally different than what everyone else orders, Early sunday morning You and your son are mysteriously sick then when you wife takes your daughter to the competition head on over to lakeland. If you get busted, well you guys just let her know that you both puked out the bad food and were feeling better and didnt want to waste the day.

Just use the Ferris Bueller no fail plan, got him the day off from school, just blame the sickness on the bad food :

Ferris Bueller: The key to faking out the parents is the clammy hands. It's a good non-specific symptom. A lot of people will tell you that a phony fever is a dead lock, but if you get a nervous mother, you could land in the doctor's office. That's worse than school. What you do is, you fake a stomach cramp, and when you're bent over, moaning and wailing, (confidentally) you lick your palms. It's a little childish and stupid, but then, so is high school.

Haha, I think you could be onto something here. That damn Bueller was a genius. One time my brother and I wanted to stay home from school so we ate all kinds of flowers, leaves and grass. Yep, we got sick all right, but we didn't go to school either :xomunch: :repuke:

I went, didnt take any pics. Nothing real notable for mini bikes this year. Seems to be off and on for the amount of them that show up to the event, was maybe 10-12 bikes and a kart running down the track

Nobody that I know of from OldMiniBikes was there. I rode around the grounds on a mini but I didn't run down the track. I only really went in hopes of finding maybe a some frames or bikes as I have picked some pretty cool ones in years past out of there, but no luck this year. And as usual didn't have much interest in any bikes or parts I brought to sell. Sold enough travel decals and "smalls" though to pay for my entry fee and fuel at least

Oh yea, Square chopper will know who I am talking about, the little kid that I always let ride the bikes around......He dumped one this year :doah: thankfully it was right off the bat and in the grass! He skinned his knee up and wanted nothing to do with them after that
