I recently put a torque converter on my Bonanza with the 8hp Tecumseh engine, it was a little bit of a challenge but the end result was well worth the effort.

45 tooth 41 chain, its the same size as a 60 tooth 35 chain.

Why would I lie about that, the picture is at the top, my 41 tooth sprocket on my wheel is the same diameter as a 60 tooth 35 chain sprocket.

Here are some pics of my torque converter mod on the Bonanza with an HM80 motor. I believe this bike could climb anything now, gobs of torque!!

Yeah its just a piece of 1/4" plate with two 1-3/8" holes in it for bearings, the torque of the motor would bend the jackshaft otherwise...its like a spreader to keep the chain from pulling the shafts when torque is applied.
