I have used this carb many times too, and it does work well. There is one small modification needed though. On the side there is a very small vent hole. that needs to be enlarged to 1/16" (just using a drill). That will help. Markus documented this somewhere else on this site. cfh

yes but your bike has a diaphragm carb for a reason, i suspect. you probably don't have an angled intake...

They dont make a diaphragm carb anymore and the one I have is clogged. Any suggestions as to what to do ?
buy a re build kit from a small engine repair shop and clean and rebuild the carb. dont forget to add an in line fule filter and a fule shutt of as well as add some stabil fuel stabilizer to your gas to help keep the carb healthy afterward.

Done and runs like a top. Had a tough time but got it cleaned out. starts and runs great. all original, it will be for sale at the show in Oley Pa. thanks for your input.
