I believe he's looking for an original 1970's Carlisle 4.00-6 tire. The one in your photo is a newer one.

I don't think the 1970's Carlisle tires had the words "Nylon Made in U.S.A" on them like the ones on your bike. The 1970's Carlisle tires should look like the one JohnC put a photo of with just the name Carlisle and the tire size with the engine date code on one side.

Your tires are probably still old but might be from the 80's or 90's from being changed out. I'm not a tire expert but I'm just going off of what I've seen on other bikes. Maybe someone who knows more about Carlisle tires can weigh in.

They actually have all the same words only difference is the word "Carlisle" is missing.

The tire I got from bbiggs will work fine for my build. It's in real nice shape. Here is a comparison the same outline logo is on the tire but Carlisle is missing only difference.
