Clutch Problem

So I thought I fixed my problem were the mini bike would go by itself well I guess not. I fired it up today and it idles fine but I give it a little gas and then it will go but then the clutch starts spinning super fast and crazy making a weird noise. Any idea what could be going wrong?

maybe a bad clutch, how old is it? and maybe spring tension inside the clutch.

No idea on how old it is I bought it from someone with me not knowing a thing about mini bikes. Any other suggestions I can try?

The center part of the clutch should spin fast when you give it a little gas. It has shoes in it that have to spin around 2000-2200 before they lock to the outer part to drive the rear wheel. Give it more throttle and see if it locks and quiets down. It's a Max Torque, so it will still make a little noise. If the noise you hear taking off is kind of a hissing rattle, it's normal. Metal shoes spinning in a metal drum will make noise until they lock up and start moving you.

Its not normal though that I will gas it and let it coast and then it like gasses itself and just spins out of control.

I have just about the same issue; my engine starts good but when i hit the gas on the throtle the bike will not move. Any suggestions??

are you sure its not the clutch bushing wobbling while spinning because of lack of lubrication? because thats the only thing i can think of...
