Coleman BT200x stalls going down a hill

#1
Hello all,
I am having trouble recently with my Coleman BT200x.
It stalls as soon as i let go of the throttle, especially riding down a hill.
Seems less powerful than before.
I thought it was a clutch issue, and cleaned and oil the clutch. (the right way)
No luck...
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I would check:
YouTube
Governor linkage and springs
Carburetor, esp the float set-up
Idle rpm setting
Valve lash
Good project

i checked all of these, but with no luck.
As i test-ride it, it seems to be getting worse...
Now whenever i let off the gas, it ALWAYS stutters.
I am baffled.

I

would clean and or replace the carburetor.
Funny you mention that, "HAD" (grandsons now:)) a 200CU all but new wouldn't run right, always coughin. chokin, spittin, sputterin and everything else in between. Swapped carbs pro'lum solved. As mentioned all but new maybe a couple hrs on it when I found it. Cleaned the carburetor several times, drained fuel verified fuel lines and on and on. Swap it out and see it that solves the issues
