Continental Red Seal 175

Just picked up Simplex Sportsman Compact with Continental Red Seal 175, model 1120 or L120, I would like any info, manuals on engine and parts, would like to replace the engine end plate at clutch side where kick start ears are broken.

Can you post a few more pics of the bike and engine. And engine ID tag. I just picked up a NOS AU75 Red Seal with the original manual. I might be able to help you out with any specific questions. As far as trying to find parts. These motors are hard to come by. Even most of the quarter midget stuff used the smaller continentals with the 7 bolt heads whereas these have 8 and are bigger engines generally. There are some Facebook groups with people who have some parts.
