s-l500.jpg just picked this up to rebuild and squirrel away for a future project when needed. as you can see in the pic this one has the barb fitting. it also is the first time I have seen the [F] marking on the body that is described in the rebuild instructions. does the fitting need to be hooked to something to work correctly? The fitting is for a remote primer bulb, you want to leave it open or use a primer bulb or it will create too much pressure and the diaphragm will not be able to operate correctly. That carb will have a pretty small bore (smaller than what is in the carbs that were used on slanted mini bike engines) in it so its not really ideal for much other than maybe a small displacement runner. I used one on a "polished turd" edger engine that was setup to run not much more than about 20mph for a little guy/gal to ride. It did run really well actually, but it wanted one pull at WOT to prime/start no matter what I tried....kind of like a lawnmower has to have.
