El Tigre Lark ?

i don't have a Bird frame but i do have what is left of a El Tigre frame but always been a fan of the Bird Lark so this is my conversion. purchased a white banana seat and sissy bar that fit good - i guess the seat could have been a bit longer. planning on using a bronze color lauson motor i have for power and plain white wheels. other than the seat and sissy bars i'm using stuff from my stash so maybe $50. or less build.

going with a green krylon paint flake paint which amazingly covers up imperfections by get all over when sprayed, several clear coats followup.

bad part is the glitter goes all over when you spray and it's not a smooth finish even with the clear coat but it sparkles. they say to use a common color as a base coat so i used a light color green. i don't know if i would use it again just something different. wallyworld, hobby lobby and michael carry it for $6-$7. a can.

dug through the loot and found a good front wheel but had to order a new wheel and decided on sawtooth tires as all the rest have knobby tires - yeah something different. still sanding on the frame and not yet welded a seat post yet.

also found a pair of 4 " wheels that i want to use on a mini mini i may do later , want to see if i can make it a micro bike.

welding on frame using my workhorse work bench and discovered plastic does melt, have no clue what i was thinking as i have a metal plate to put on top but it was getting late and i was trying to hurry. oh well didn't mess up the locking device at least.

frame finished, tires and seat mounted so just need to work on motor. thought about this lauson but leaning toward a little 3 hp b & s that has spark but need to dig through stash and find carb & tank for it. i like the color alot just don't think i'd use the glitter blast paint again as it wasn't a blast using it. i want to take a few picture in the sunlight this week as the lighting in the garage doesn't show the flake/sparkle of the paint - only bad part of paint is you can't get a smooth surface.
