Before I start this post, I want to introduce myself. I have been a watcher on this site for years and have learned a ton of info. There's lots of smart folks on this site. I've been a hot rod guy for decades, and recently retired from a 30yr career in aerospace. I'm busier now than I ever was, but it's doing stuff that I want to do.

I recently went to an estate sale and bought three minibike frames and was hoping that the experts on this site can tell me what I've got. This is bike #1, other threads to follow. Thanks in advance!!

This frame is a Taco and guessing a 44.

Still learning myself so if I'm wrong on it being a model 44 someone will correct me.

I think a Taco also but so many bikes look the same. For instance a Zebra is similar.

It looks like it started life as a 1966ish Taco bolt together Burrito.
The lower frame, from the motor plate back is wrong and the shocks should not be there.

looks like a 1966 taco 22. someone cut the back half and rewelded it to make it a 44. the kid probably wanted the newer later model so dad hacked it up and made it work. pretty neat.
