Giving an old Dunecycle a new life

Picked this up pretty cheap because it was in rough shape: frame broken in 2 spots, axle broken, bushings gone in the fork and the engine seized. I'm in the process of putting it together as a toy for my grandson. I found a Briggs 3.5 locally cheap and got it running, got the flotation tires to hold air and fixed the frame so far. I'm still waiting for a sprocket and disc for the differential so I can put the drive back together. Trike was already stretched so I moved the seat forward until the boy grows into it. I found that needle bearing in the fork neck with a thrust bearing on the lower end tighten the forks up nicely. Installed a grease fitting to hopefully keep them that way.

There was one of those down @ a lake cabin that I used to ride once in awhile back in the early 70's.

It was a frigg'n blast !
