Thanks for the photos .... I'm not copying a big bear I'm scaling up a Tom Thumb and just wanted to know the width of the top and bottom frame for seat width and engine mount width. I agree with you on getting a real big bear however I just can't seem to locate one, wish I kept the one I had as a kid that I bought for $15
Pardon me for being so blunt, a Tom Thumb is nothing more than a scaled down version of these early Go Kart Cycle bikes. If your true intent was to up-scale a Tom Thumb, wouldn't the obvious thing to do is just that?. The plans for a Tom Thumb are freely available on the internet, scale it up and enjoy. Asking specifics down to the smallest detail doesn't seem like the intent is to just build something close for personal use. I for one do plan to make some frames based off my Greenhorn Enduro but as a true enthusiast I don't plan on mass-producing/selling them as I feel it would disrupt the collector market, JMO.
