What he's saying is you have a plate welded to your frame rails with slotted holes in it. Then you have a "C" channel between that plate and the bottom of your engine. That piece is usually in there to mount your jackshaft to (weld) and allow for adjustments of jackshaft WITH the engine or without.
JKauto is saying you could beef the frame up by welding in "gussets" or bracing. In order to give that kart true suspension,you'd have to cut the back half off and weld in a hinge joint....like a swing arm on a motorcycle then add shocks. Pretty big undertaking if you're not into fab work. Best thing to do for off roading is drop the rear tire pressure to about 4-6 psi.That way your tires will soften up the bumps.

then you should probably junk it and start over. you have welds all over that frame from previous abuse, and not sure how cruising ebay is going to fix your problem.
