So here's what the paint looks like....in a dank dark garage...gonna pop outside
See what you think... I believe the pieces will be in my hands tomorrow. I will protect the paintwork best I can during the assembly...next a "roller"

Close to the chrysler turbine orange used in the 60's ?

You're right it sure is close. This is not what I expected but it's what I got. I think it looks good and once made whole will look reel sharp. I spread out all the stuff in the daylight.here's what I got. I will take my time assembling it starting with the wheels.more later

What’s the tray behind the engine plate and why so many holes in the top plate?
Cool color,I’ve got a big Rascal myself.
Will be an interesting build.

The tray is for the battery. I am running lites and the motor is electric start.
The holes in the top plate are for switches. I am pleased very happy with the color choice
I'm gonna post up some photos from last nite

Got a lot done this morning
Here's some detail shots. I am running all my wires through the bars for start,kill and brake lite switch..some shots of the hydraulic rear brake set up and the front brakes....check out the anodized cup washers
I'll keep updating

I got the switches on the bars installed with the kill,start and brake light wires running through the bars...really clean
That idea is Matt Rambo of CNW
Got the motor on and the chain installed that's it for today
