gov. removel of 6.5

Is it ok if i remove the gov complety from the 6.5 clone engine?

It is totally fine to take off the governer. The 6.5 clone is identical to the Honda GX200. Thats the one i have on my mini.

They have an entire section on governer removal and tons of hop up parts and tips.
There is alot of debate about governer removal. But If you keep the RPMs reasonable then you will be totally fine.

if you remove the governor, get a billet rod. that becomes the weak link in the motor at that point.
