Which part did you break? The outer shell, the inner filter or the bottom part?

Myself or others here may have the piece you need for free or close to it

Hi Joe,

I'm not very technical at all, but here goes...

Inside the Air Box is a plastic tube and it cracked at the bottom so now
there is nothing to hold the Air Cleaner box in place..

So you need the lower part then which also goes around the chock and gas shutoffs

Was afraid you would say that since my only spare has the exact same cracked area

Sorry I can't help on this one but I am sure someone else must have one lying around

OK, Thanks Guys...

Been trying to get a hold of the Harbor Freight Tech people, but no luck
via phone, so I sent an E-Mail and it says 24-48hrs to respond...

Also called the (800) 520-0882 number and the mailbox is full....

Here's my gx160 carb set for sale and the stack (big round alum block with choke holder) will work a K&N style or Uni filter air filter....

You mean like this (ghetto rig I tried out)


Or do it right and get an adapter and filter so it's like this


Just remember that adding a cone may mean you will need to rejet to get it to run right

After installing a Predator AirBox I can't get the bike running for more than a few seconds at a time..

Had to install new throttle yesterday so I'm sure from turning throttle while making adjustments I may have flooded it, but thought after sitting all night that it would be fine today...

I guess maybe the next step is to pull the spark plug to see if it's soaked with gas ?

Appreciate any help, I'm not mechanically inclined at all and getting frustrated..

No actually that was off a homelite clone in a baja warrior. Basically the same as a greyhound airfilter housing with the small filter cover. The long cover is just for looks but really isnt different. The predator housing has a different filter element completely- not as good.
