Help with mystery mini bike

Hi,
I am looking for help in identifying a mini bike. I bought this off ebay and believe it to be a speedway. There are differences though and I do not know if this bike has been modified, or it is not a speedway.
The gas tank looks to be from a fox. There is a plate under the upper bar of the frame where two bolts go through and screw into the bottom of the gas tank to hold it in place. On the speedway models I have seen, the bolts that hold the gas tank onto the top bar of the frame go through the SIDE of the frame, NOT from UNDER!
It has fold down handlebars like those from a honda. The footpegs are mounted onto a bar that has two bolts that go under the front of the motor mount and they hold the front of the motor to the mount. I believe rupp's have this same mount.
The mini bike looks to be all original with no new welds and this is why I do not know if it has been modified. Please look at attached pictures and if you are fimiliar with speedways, you will notice differences. Thank you for looking and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the welcome. It would be great to hear from someone that recognizes this mini bike for what it is. Otherwise, I'm sticking with that it is a speedway with some modifications. I have the mini bike taken apart and sandblasted already. The bike will be painted candy apple red. I have been looking for someone that will re-chrome some parts for me. If you know of someone that I could trust and does a decent job, I would appreciate hearing back from you on this. Thanks again and I look forward to talking to folks about some of these old mini bikes.

I use Lincoln Plating in Lincoln, Nebraska...they've been in business for almost a century and did plating for Cushman and Harley-Davidson.

They might not be cost-effective for you if you have a plater closer to home that specializes in small-batch custom work...

I save the stuff I need plated until I go home to Nebraska because it's much cheaper if you completely prep it before they get hold of it...

If they need to clean it up before plating, it gets more expensive, and they don't like to plate over any pits or scratches...it looks bad, and they don't want anyone saying they do shoddy work...

So, if I sent out an old gas tank that hadn't been completely stripped of old plating and had the bare metal sanded to remove all pits and scratches, and then smoothed to form a nice base for the plating, they'd call me, demanding I let them finish it to their standards, or they wouldn't plate it for me, and probably wouldn't accept any more business from me in the future.

The platers that do good work demand that you let them do good work, so it can get really expensive if you're trying to replate vintage parts...but a chrome gas tank is really cool when it's done right, and with triple-plating, it's just blinding in bright sunlight.

This bike is some sort of Fox.. Like a Sundowner, only Sundowners were a Sachs Saxonette 2 stroke shifter bike... Maybe like a Fox Spoiler or something.. I'm not a Fox expert but I'm %99 sure it is a Fox of some breed...

He's off the meds again.
And its probaly a Speedway that was built out of alot of different parts after Fox corp bought out Speedway in 74, Fox had a bunch of bikes that were a combo of both Fox and Speedway in the mid 70's.

Plating for chrome for that dazzle look

I use Lincoln Plating in Lincoln, Nebraska...they've been in business for almost a century and did plating for Cushman and Harley-Davidson.
My Dad was a plater for years and did it al from precious metal, cad ,anodize, and hard chrome and the plater is 90% dependent on the quality standards of the buffer. If he is good then the job has a chance to come out super.
Through out the years the best platers we used for show parts came from Marine platers their chrome on steel, brass and aluminum had to be the best to last for their super fussy clients.

Two places that you don't ask the price the plater and the painter you ether trust their quality or go someplace else.

Hi, It looks like it has a Speedway type torque converter cover, also the headlight is same type thats on Speedway models, frame also looks like Speedway, however the handle bars is what throws me off as I've never seen a Speedway with that .It looks almost like Honda50 type handle bars.Other than that it looks like a Speedway, maybe Scorpion or Shrike?
