I am not sure of the year...I would think by the way the folks in the ad are dressed...I'd say 'mid' sixties ?
And regarding what type motor...I can't tell, I know homelite made a lot of their own motors...but the photo looks a lot like a big block Tecumseh or Lausen (sp) ? That motor of yours looks pretty cool, and if it runs good, use it !
Here is where I saw one similar to yours...RapidRob has photos of one there....but he cloned his....take a look (plus the rest of the thread is great...need a photo of yours in there) :thumbsup:

It was this thread that I acquired the ad photo I posted in your thread.
Richart Trotter has a lot of knowledge about the tote goats (sp) and other trail machines and such. Perhaps he or RapidRob will come upon this thread soon and provide some more insight about your new bike.
