Time to assemble a Mini Bike Scooter . That breath was tricky to weld , brass the steel . That shouldn’t be a problem at all , but being zink/eradite plated. Made it exiting to weld , I dis surface condition the steel . Didn’t want grind in the steel to much ether . Started sputtering spitting RUTROOOOO . Just went slower let stinger clean the weld a bit as I went . Spitting enough to have silicone bronze stuck on tungsten when finished. but it solid perimeter weld . polished the 90 taped it off , then shot it with hammer wright silver .

Assembled engine , funny thing about the pull handle . I went to San Juan Capistrano mission to tour there . I had been thinking about the style of the handle I wanted . Was going order it when I got home . Parked down the street, I went too get car , to save my guests the walk . Headed off to do that , down the street I go . I look down on sidewalk and what do I see . But very handle I was going buy was laying in the middle of the sidewalk? not blade of grass or tree anywhere on the sidewalk.

Did a gas tank bracket flip . It quite as simple as it sounds. It involved cutting bracket in to three sections . With one piece being disguarded , and new bent section made and welded to the other 2 sections. I drilled and slotted the bracket , for the Xlarge tie wraps to pass through . Had add a pass through hole , for tank nipple . This flip lowers the tank about 1 1/8” down . Keeps it high enough for trickle feed to carb . Before I was only getting about half or less fuel out of the tank .

Polishing the truck bed , that has 2” high side rail . Those are Stainless Steel , welded to 1/8” mild steel plate . Giving the rails a polish , that stainless some hard stuff Blue wheel black rouge to start with . Also starting the polish process on my Emmick Gas Tank . Gotta go easy on that one aluminum is soft , and it’s occuword to hold . So I cut some 3/4” plywood with holds bolted tank to that .

Those foot pegs are swinger style . I guess that was necessary bouncing of rocks trees and what ever. I didn’t have those, but had a look at a survivor one my buddy has . Begged him leave it , as it was very very original unmolested one . But he just couldn’t leave it alone. it’s very nice actually really to nice to do anything with but look at it . Mine was just a frame and wheels that need some work . So no harm there, going forward making it a kool rider . The wheels I am using , are because I had them and they looked kool .

Well got is far as could before my date with surgeon. Total reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Now have a matching set Left Right , the gap between the two apparatus is where the pad goes it doesn’t show in X-ray . 2-3 wks sleeping in semi up right position in a recliner chair .
