How much oil in a 3hp??

No dip stick on the oil plug, How much oil dose a 3HP Briggs take?

Drain it and refill it until it runs out the threaded filler hole or until you can see it at the bottom of the threads. Either way is OK.

Obviously this is for flat head low fill cap motors.

There is a thread in the briggs sub-forum that has a link to a manual that 388 pages and it has the exact amount listed there.....i dont know how to post links lol
