How to adjust float height?

I have a 24mm mikuni on my setup and cant seem to fix a leaky fuel bowl. It drips gas a little bit out the overflow when i start to ride the bike, and dont know why. I had to replace the needle a couple times due to running a fuel pump and attempting to adjust float height. Im not sure if i did it correctly or too much but i will post pictures when i can (going back home in a couple weeks then will update)

Bend the little tab off the float bowl that rests on top of the needle very carefully. Remove the pin holding the float to the carb, it should be a tight fit so you may need to push or tap the pin out with a small punch, then bend the tab that rests on the top of the needle. Bend it very slightly downward when looking at the floats from overhead. Reassemble and try again. If still leaking bend it slighty more and try again. If still not sealing bend in other direction and see if that works.

Walk up on your adjustments and make them very precise.
