You can send them to me and I can soak them in a ultra sonic cleaner, works great for me.
We purchased an ultrasonic years ago and it has proven to be a very good investment. My son has been able to get carbs (especially Tecumseh) clean and operating again that he could not by "conventional" means.

Pull the idle mixture screw out of the side of the carb and insert your carb cleaner spray into the screw hole and spray. You should be able to see some cleaner come out of a tiny hole in the carb throttle bore on the engine side of the butterflies. I just cleaned mine out yesterday with some carb cleaner and compressed air. Wear safety glasses so you don't get any in your eyes. I opened the screw up one turn and it started and ran pretty good.

I'll try it tonight. And I will wear my safety glasses.

I've had Tec carbs that I've cleaned over and over with carb cleaner with not luck. Then a friend told be to let it sit in lacquer thinner and use the ultrasonic cleaner on it. I did that as a last resort at my wits end and it worked great. After that success, I'll do that on every one.

A buddy just gave me some carb dip I'm going to try that tomorrow. Another friend came over the other night and we had it running great. I tried it the next day and nothing.

Is this saga over? Is it, right now, running over flowering hills under sunny skies as birds take flight and children sing?
Or is it in a dumpster on its side in 3 inches of bacon grease behind the local minimart?

I still haven't dipped it yet. I really think I messed up the timing. I'm probably going to take it to a repair shop soon.
So re-time it, bro! Cmon, do it it for Tecumseh if nothing else. Long live the greatest small engine name of all time!! Its like my grand pappy used to tell me: "Johnny, dont be a douche... buy a Tecumseh" I miss you grand pappy!!!

make sure you clear both holes in the bowl bolt. there is a big one and a tiny one higher up in the threads. Usually thats the problem when it only runs on choke
