I screwed up

Ok so I posted about this 2 weeks ago. I took out the govener on my 5.5 Honda clone. I just took out the plastic gear. Then when I'm riding the govener rod was hitting against the gears. So I took a dremble and grinded it off. Now it wont start. When I try to start it it sounds like the damn wheel of fourtune. The gears are in the right place with the markings. It sounds like metal it's hitting toghether when I try to start it. Any ideas?

How does that work, what part did you grinded, the inside or outside bits....

The inside. I think we're talking about 2 diffrent things. It was the little rod that would slow the bike down when you would rev up

Ya that is the part I am trying to find out if he grinded off.....

If he didn't grinded it off then it could crashed into the crank counter weight....

Would explained a lot of things

Are you sure you did not bent a valve or broke a rod because of over revving?

Well I removed the plastic gear with the weights in it then took it for a ride and it was fine except the rod was hitting the gears. That's when I grinded it off and now it won't start. I've looked all over the inside and I cant see anything wrong

when you removed the plastic gears did you fish out the small washers behind it?

1. Won't start 2. Sounds like wheel of fortune 3. Removed govenor :scared: - No offense but 3 strikes against you. It may be easier to go buy another discounted clone. Be sure to check for a sheared off keyway.
