Im trying to build a pretty sick briggs

I am going to take it apart and get the head milled and port the intake and exhaust ports. Then change the cam haven't thought of which cam yet. Gonna also put a billet connecting rod in it and change the springs. Haven't decided what springs yet either. I would like to see if some things for the blockzilla briggs will bolt on to the 5hp briggs block. If anyone knows if the parts are interchangeable or have some input on what I am thinking about doing to my briggs don't hesitate to reply!

I haven't taken pics of the engine yet because it is still on the bike.

Perhaps the only thing that will interchange between the Blockzilla and the 5HP is the spark plug! Two way different motors!
There is a sticky at the top of the Briggs and Stratton section that has good tips to mod a flathead

Here's the link for an engine I got off a member here. It was a great engine, strong, reliable. It had enough compression that I used welding glove to start it with.
