It's not terribly rare but very cool and original finishes are a plus for me even if they are rough. A great project bike worth building for sure, needs a few hundred dollars or more in work and parts to be whole again depends on how deep you want to be in one.

I wouldn't even go as far as using the word "Rare" on that bike. Maybe hard to come across but not rare.
I'd call it "medium-well" :laugh:

foxcow, those were later fox built bikes, like 1972-up the banshee name was used on a few of the bikes that were built off that same basic chassis. Member MarkG I think had some literature on them if you do some searching. The engine on yours is not right and would not be a good choice to even consider for a mini bike in reality so I'd yank that off and leave it at the garage sale :wink: considering its lighted, and the era it came from the orginal engine woud have most likely been a Tecumseh HS40 with a lighting coil.
