Inner tube valve stem Fix

#1
So on my trike the valve stem ripped out of the tube. It was a larin. Rather than buy a new tube I thought maybe it can fix. All I did was put a washer on the stem. it had a rubber coating on one side to seal against the bottom lip of the stem. It came with a bolt together fiberglass bath tub. So to get it inside I spread the hole with some C-clip pliers and squezed it in there. Put a washer and nut on the outside and tightened it up. And its good to go. Its held air all week already. No sealer or anything. Who knew

Great Idea , I know that in the heavy equip trade they used to make patch that included the valve
I have thought of trying this by combining two tubes and rubber cement

The " Patch on stem " is just that.

Comes in short, long, long bent And chubby stem. The area where the stem was, needs to be buffed off.

Cleaned, glue applied, let dry an then the stem. Stitch the area afterward.

Best applied by the Pro but, can be done at home.
