If you can it would be by unscrewing the bottom eyelet from the lower body,

if you have them off put the eyelet in a vise and try spinning the body (standard thread) sometimes this takes alot of force a strap wrench is about he safest tool to use.


Neat to see it badged as what it really was, an italjet. Here in the states Alan Newman had them shipped over and simply put "indian" motorcycle badges on them to make some easy money off the historical name.

I had one that was in pieces, it needed some clean wheels. I really regret getting rid of it bucease anout a month after I sold it I found another italjet with a near mint set of wheels for $75 :doah:

Thanks for that. I did wonder if that was the way they came apart but was petrified of damaging them as they are like rocking horse poo to find !
