Lifan vs Predator Engines?

Looking around it seems there is some differences in these 2 brands??? I found this surfing and seems to be a good price. Too bad no electric start. I am looking to repower an old 1967 SS12 Sears Tractor. The old Tecumseh engine had electronic ignition and the module has failed.

They are all a chinese clone, they go by the lowest bidder so who makes what this week can very well be completely different from next week.

Hey! I dunno...I was just following what Trinik said in the duplicate thread! I was wanting to be consistent!

My mistake !!!! Lifan , loncin I get screwed up too !!!! But loncin/predator has definitely been following the after market ... Hemis now have exhaust retainers and lash caps which is what we were doing to correct the bad valve train geometry that caused a lot of vibration in some of the earlier models as well as split locks and keepers on the 3800 rpm model .. also offering 27/25 valve setups on their heads vs. the standard clone 25/24
