Magnets like the ones used for the trigger on flywheels are made from ferrite, a non ferrous metal, meaning no iron. Some non ferrous metals can be fused together or welded to satisfactory results, aluminum.
Doubt that ferrite can be welded, by anybody but NASA or some other Government agency, Blackwater or Rockwell.
An epoxy might work.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ferrites are chemical compounds consisting of ceramic materials with iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3) as their principal component.[1] Many of them are magnetic materials and they are used to make permanent magnets, ferrite cores for transformers, and in various other applications.

look at nape or some parts store for metal epoxy or you could use a small amount of jb weld
