Mikuni VM Questions

Hi there,

Can someone tell me what the pilot jet affects? i take it its the rev range but is it just idle if not to how revs do it affect?

Also what set up of jets are people using..

Pilot No.
Main Jet
Air turns outs etc

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Im getting very poor low end performance out of my engines currently

I have a vm with no air screw and the pilot affect the low end and top end im running a 200 main jet ans a 30 pilot but that's on my gx390 and it runny a little lean

does your carb have a spigot mount or does it have a flange with 2 bolt holes?

You have a taper bore and not a true VM
