Mini Baja 5.5

I have come across a Mini Baja 5.5 on craigslist and was wondering if those 5.5 horsepower engines are any good with the bike or not? The guy is selling it for $300, and it's in good condition. Please let me know!

They are pretty good. The only thing that really goes wrong with them are the carbs and clutches and the idler gear(jackshaft plate). But that happens with most things if you drive it enough. And the price isn't too bad. Really would have to see it to say for sure.

Your welcome. And the rear fender can be bought at OldMiniBikes and it is like 30-40 bucks. I would see if he would take lower...then it gives you the extra cash to get the fender and maybe a fresh plug or whatever. Hit him at 200 and see what he says. I know in the Detroit area that would sell for around 250 ish in that condition.
