Minibike drags at beaver springs jalopy show down drags sept 29th

ok just talked to the promotor of the jalopy show down drags on sept 29th at beaver springs pa.
He told me that they will try to squeeze minibike racing in between races.
Here is a chance to get our foot in the door and open the minibike drags for us.
i'm sure if enough of us show up it will be a great time.
Helmets pants shoes and jackets are a must!
Plus what ever rules they have at the event.
So lets see who wants to drag race 1/8 drags at beaver springs raceway!
There is an entry fee plus a fee for the number to race!

Hmmm, really would love to see what my bike can do but 520 miles each way is a little much for me

yeah I know about that. I drove to vintage torquefest from new york 19 hours to drive my minibike on that track also drove to austin texas 34 hours to the lone star round up.
Was it worth it HELL YEAH!!!!!!! :laugh:

The worst part is if I want to bring the bike then that means I have to bring the truck and the Mustang stays home so I can't get any more timeslips for that

Why can't my local track have a day like this?

This is gonna be great, real christmas tree starts, real timing, no excuses. and i will also be beating the snot out of my 34 chevy. Think I might have to put a wheelie bar on the purple rupp, are there slicks available for 12 inch rims:devil2:

Just bought a little red one on craigs list will have to see if tommy wants to run it
I will have my henry j but I wont run that. Yeah like I say I wont run in the mud every year at the showdown too!

Run the the Henry, I am gonna run my 34 chevy, I wanted to put in my big block, but i dont think ill have time to do the the swap? I bought a line lock, and i'll be bolting on a set of mickey thomsons. It went 7.90's last time, I wanna see some passes in the 6's this time. It isnt gonna be the same with our chevy vs ford grudge race?
I wonder if you can edit the title of this thread? There are alot members from pennsylvania area, And most people here probably dont know where beaver springs dragway is? It might help if people know that beaveer spring is PA.

Beaver springs raceway is 3 hours west of nyc it really isn't that far about the same as englishtown.

Minibikin To bad you cant make it, Tell your minibike buddies about it. Hey Ed are any guys from your car club going to beaver springs? We are bringing the trailer so we can carry extra bikes for people if they dont have a way to transport, let me know.

Left - 1970 CT70H - 29.73 @ 38.75 MPH
