What year is the engine Nate...and what size ? 4 HP ? and yea that bracket should be easy to make seeing that you have one bracket to go by.

525 was 5hp, 424 was 4hp, and 323 was a 3hp from my research.

From my limited research (I been mainly focusing on 424s since thats what I have) those XEs are the rarest of the wards and yours seems to be pretty optioned out. I wish my 424 was it, lol.

I need a jack shaft bracket
Not sure if you are aware but the jackshaft bracket for a 2 speed and a 1 speed is different. Hate for somebody to buy a part and it wind up being wrong.

Not sure if the jackshaft bracket for the 2 speed is different. For a TAV, yes, it is much larger. I just compared the photo to mine and the 2 speed bracket looks the same as my single speed brackets (and there isn't any reason why it shouldn't be). If you make a new bracket, make 2 unless you are able to find the oblong Gilson Snow Blower bushings. You'll need to use a round sintered 5/8 id bushing. If you go TAV, I can send you a template of the bracket.

Thanks for the info guys, I picked up a set of brackets from James today. I'm thinking about going tav though so I'll shoot you a PM Teacher...
