Interesting I was speaking to somebody "in the know" about the history of Bonanza and they told me the orignal name was "Custom Kart" before it became "California Kart" before it became Bonanza.

I had never heard or seen evidence of this before but there it is :

I was thinking about you when I saw Tom's Ebay listing here. A lot of this kart looks identical to the Fox Go Boy or 2100. But that steering wheel is really cool.

This would be a fun kart with two 580's, or 400/490's. Talk about a drift machine!

Just based on that stereing wheel I would guess that is a very early Bonanza kart...maybe first year.
