ok, im guessing I don't need the whole kit with the backing plate, just the clutch and TC separate since I have a jack shaft correct?

Doc is telling you the truth....but the back pulley is just that correct...its just a pulley. So you might get buy with just a torque converter...Right ? Doc what do you see ?

All the surfing and looking at everything I can on here, I have never seen that set up.

I believe that that is a driven unit not just a simple pulley. The 30 series Comet (Driver/Driven) will fit. I have that bike that has a 30 series on it. You may have to put a new jack shaft on to lengthen it a bit for lining it up. Should be good to go.

Well....this is what I have been told so don't hang the messenger. The 30 series is much better at pulling up grades and such. Just an all around better choice for an active minibike. Take it for what you will and someone else may chime in and give a different story.

Also, the 20 series is a symmetrical and the 30 series is an asymmetrical system. They are not interchangeable.

It was hard for me to see if the driven was just a plain pulley or not.....but if you are changing both then the 30 series will work just fine. I would get a longer jack shaft and new bearings to. What about your driver/sprocket it looks a little worn to....does it use #35 chain or #40 ?

Here's what im getting, 30 series. the shaft is 8" now, do think it will need to be longer? the driven is the size of a TC already...

JC, it needs to be long enough so that the driver and driven line up. It's impossible for us to tell until you mount them. At that point you can determine if and how much longer it needs to be. From the pictures I think it may need to be a little longer but I really have no way of knowing without seeing these items on the bike.
